The heart rate on my new Versa 2 won't work

got my new versa 2 yesterday and the bpm will not work. i have set up twice reset the whole thing. it’s not flashing. in settings it says it’s on

Have you tried shutting the tracker off or a restart?

i have done a complete reset. how do i just shut off the tracker?

yes. so apparently after doing some research it seems my wrist tattoo might be the problem. it never caused me a problem with my blaze

So i have just purchased the versa 2 and it won’t pick up my bpm due to my tattoos any advice? my blaze used to work fine

do you have tattoos? That can affect HR

Have you checked heartrate always on in settings

If the green diodes aren't flashing try placing it on the inside of your wrist see if that starts it

yes i have both wrists tattooed never affected my blaze bpm!

Yep same happened to me my Blaze and Ionic worked fine on my tattoos..so was miffed that Versa 2 won't work on tattoos

However found a "fix" put a clear sticky dot (think they're called epoxy stickers in the US) over the green diode works perfectly will need to take it off when charging 

You can get them from most hardware stores or Amazon
