The screen of my Versa 2 goes black randomly

Last week I was having problems with the screen going black, the side button wasn’t working, yet the lights on the bottom were still flashing, and it wouldn’t not sync. The batter was around 70%.  I had reached out to a representative and all of a sudden it starts working again. I reset it to factory settings (as suggested by the Fitbit rep) and now I’m having even more issues. The screen still goes black randomly and I can’t “wake” it back up and the watch face keeps resetting to its original style throughout the day. I’ve only had this watch for 8 months. My first watch, the original Versa lasted 2.5 years before it started having problems. Is this from the most recent update? Seems like a lot of customers are having the same issues.
