The screen of my Versa 2 has gone blank

After putting my Versa 2 on charge the screen has gone completely blank and  non-responsive. The data is still being collected, the HR is still flashing on the back and it still vibrates when a message is received. 

I have tried the reset several times and the Fitbit Logo appears and the watch vibrates but the screen remains completely blank.
