I have had it for about a month and it stopped working suddenly in school. It is still tracking and vibrates but the screen is black. I have tried restarting it and changing the clock face but neither worked.

Hi @Ryan.C. Since you've already restarted the device and changed the clock face, I would call Fitbit for a replacement since it's so new.
