I've recently bought a Fitbit versa 3, and everything works and I'm happy with everything except a certain bug which is getting extremely annoying. The weather app does not seem to be syncing with my phone, and I already have all the permissions enabled. Searching up this issue just takes me to a bunch of Fitbit forums from 2017 or 2018. I use an android phone running android 9.

Sorry if I was a little unclear, but that is currently not my problem, I know how to change all that, but what I'm trying to say is that the weather app on my watch doesn't work at all. Each time I swipe down or swipe to the left twice to click on the weather app, it just says 'sync the Fitbit mobile app to update', but each time I do, nothing happens. It has been like this ever since I got it, about 2 days ago.

@god_bob - that indicates possibly either a syncing issue or permissions perhaps.
First try restarting the phone and the watch and ensure that in the Fitbit App it is syncing by pulling down on the display and wait for the green status bar at the top to go all the way across.
Also check permissions, click the profile photo top left, device photo and the Gallery tile.
It should take you (but may not) to the clock faces and list of apps with weather at the bottom, check the permissions are all selected.

Nope. I enabled all the permissions, restarted both devices twice, but still it didn't work.

@god_bob- check which version of firmware you have, in watch Settings, About Versa 3 and verify it is the latest, see What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?
If this is a new watch it may not have had the latest firmware installed, see Incorrect Set up of a new device
Also check your Fitbit App has location permission and location is running on the phone [most probably is as it's required for syncing].
You can also add a city in weather and sync and then remove it and sync if the above don't fix it,

I have enabled location for this app, and I even tried factory resetting my Fitbit, but it still doesn't work. The weather app won't sync.

I have sort of fixed it. What I did was turned on all my permissions, and then synced. At that moment, my Fitbit's weather app said 'there are some permissions required' or something like that, and it gave me a button to open the weather permissions on the Fitbit app on my phone. I turned off all the permissions, then went into the settings for the weather, added a location, and then synced. The weather app seems to be working now, but current location isn't showing...

Nevermind. Thanks for the help @Guy_ , but it seems to be working now. I just got the watch a few days ago, so I guess it just needed time or something...
