I rely solely on FitBit app to log my food calories/macros and as the bar-code doesn't acknowledge all barcodes I have been manually adding the nutrition info which has been great.
Now With the update it will not add these foods and I've been forced to download another app, which defeats the object.
Please please can we get this resolved? otherwise I will have to start looking at an alternative brand.
Apart from this I love the watch and the app and does everything else I need.

Hi there @samspire, welcome to the Community Forums. We totally understand where you're coming from. Thanks for your suggestion. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers.
In regards to your inquiry about adding the decimal point in the Fitbit app, we'd like to let you know that at this moment such feature is not currently planned just as stated on this feature suggestion: Decimal point when adding custom foods on the app. However, even though the current status is Not currently planned, this doesn't mean that we are not reviewing the feedback we receive from our users, therefore, I suggest you to participate there, leave your comments and a vote. We look forward to review your input.
Thank you so much for your feedback and for participating in our community!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

"Not Currently Planned" Seriously???? How bloody difficult can it be to have a DECIMAL POINT in a number pad field? And why on EARTH would you get rid of it in the first place???? The fact that it was removed in the first place is just another example of the developers not thinking at all about their users. And of course, no one cares. There have been multiple posts about this for MONTHS, and still nothing has been fixed. For once, LISTEN to your users. And if you need a bit of help, here are some decimal points you can use................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

@Marelco -
True - pretty weak, as I have said in another thread regarding this issue. The development team broke it, they should fix it.
Maybe it is time for me to finally join Linked In. Maybe a well thought out treistise (wrong word but converts the seriousness of the issues facing FitBit as a company) for consideration presented by an Enterprise Computing Professional to james-park-765821 regarding the inconsistencies in the User Interfaces and data destruction caused by their apps would wake the development and quality assurance teams up.
Even if I do present something, there is no way I'm going to hold my breath. Surely there have been many, many messages to the President and CEO of FitBit regarding their weak product. I'm sure mine would be just another message to be ignored.
But hey, I'm retired now and with the pandemic not going anywhere and I can only hit the treadmill, Total Gym and rowing machine so many times a day. I'll have to mention the weak treadmill app on the Versa 2 in my document as well as the inconstant heart rates reported by the Interval Workout app.
