Hi, I'm an iphone user and I'm thinking of getting a smart watch either a Versa, Ionic or Apple Watch. I have some questions. I notice that some watches use phone GPS or some have GPS built in. I want my smart watch to be able to accurately count swimming pool laps in two different swim strokes (fs and back stroke) and I want to check if a versa will do this accurately using my phones GPS even though its stored in my locker. Does anyone have experience of this please? Also, will I be able to access the Apple music app through a versa or would I have to download music to it and if so how is that done is it via app etc? Lastly, if I have swimming headphones will I be able to play music on the versa and bluetooth it to my headphones? Thanks for taking time to read my question and answer? Much appreciated. I'm not techie at all and want to make the best choice.

The Versa and the Ionic do not use GPS to track swimming. Take a look at page 39 in the Versa manual for more information on tracking activities.
No, you will not be able to access Apple Music, you will have to download songs to your tracker via the Fitbit app and your wifi. You can find more info on that in the manual as well.
It's hard to say if your head phones will connect and the water would likely block a bluletooth signal. I wouldn't count on it and this goes for all headphones and trackers with music capabilities.

Check carefully before buying based on bluetooth swimming earbuds/headphones. I just looked and couldn't find any that receive bluetooth under water. There are some with mp3 player attached, and some called waterproof under water but specifically say to note it cannot receive bluetooth underwater.
If you have a link to one, I would like to see it.
