Time is 2 to 3 mintes behind my android phone -- even immediately after syncing

I've done all I know to do from Google suggestions, and my fitbit continues to lag by 2 to 3 minutes. The stats seem to sync just fine, but it fails to display the correct time. I've tried everything I know of to try!

Additional info: I just tested when stats update: my  phone turned to 12:00am (midnight), and the phone app stats stayed on the prior day's stats until 2 minutes later when the fitbit finally turned midnight. Then the fitbit zeroed out, and the phone app followed a few seconds later.
