I was having the same issue...I got it to change.

1.  In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > Advanced Settings.

2.  Under Time Zone, turn off the Set Automatically option.

3.  Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone.

4.  Sync your Fitbit device.

I hope this helps!

Hi @SunsetRunner . Nice to see you in the forum. You say your Versa did not update the time for DST. May I ask:

  • Is the time correct on your phone?
  • If yes, have you synced your Versa to your phone?

As long as the time is correct on your phone, the time on the Versa should update when synced to the phone. If this does not help, let us know. We can do more trouble shooting.

I am having the same issue and the time on my phone is correct, but my fitbit is showing the wrong time, for instance its 6:28pm on my phone but my fitbit is showing 7:28pm. I even synced numerous times today.

Same here and I have done everything possible even did my update on my phone and restarted it and changed the timezone back and forth.  Ugh, frustrating.

Same, the time on my fitbit is not matching the time on my phone/fitbit app. I've restarted and updated now instead of being 40 minutes behind, I'm 4 minutes behind. This sucks big time, especially since I use it as my alarm.

My phone is doing the same thing even though my phone has the correct time & I have synced it several times!  Now what?

Same here.  I've even deleted the app and reinstalled it and it still isn't working.

I'm curious to know if this issue is being dealt with.  Several people have the same problem without a resolution. If this is not going to be addressed and fixed, there is no point in remaining a fitbit user.

Thank you! Finally some good help 🙂 I've had this watch for 2-3 years and this is the  first time it malfunctioned with the time. Im glad I know how to fix it if it happens again!

Can also check to see if your fitbit is set to the correct time zone there. Mine was wrong...don't know how, but this fixed my time.

The Time shows correctly but my time asleep shows an hour off in another app that syncs with my fitbit.

Why doesn't the time zone toggle stay on when after I click it on. Recently took a cross country trip and had to toggle it on, then sync my fitbit.

I deleted my Versa Lite and then added it as a new device. Then took Mstuber1016 advice of taking it off “automatically “ changing time zones and just selected my own. Synced the device and voila! Solved ! Good luck!

Update:

Not the app…delete the device in the app and “add” new device. Then sync .
