I have the Versa and thinking of upgrading to the Versa 2. Anyone already upgraded and can tell me if its worth it?

@Cerriann1t   Here are my observations about the Versa 2.  Some are from personal experience and some are from answering questions.

  • Alexa is active only when you activate it, but there is a constant Bluetooth connection with your phone.  My phone battery drain went through the roof when I activated Alexa, but when back to normal when I deactivated it.
  • Alexa is not available in every country.  If your country is not on the list, then you won't be able to use Alexa.
  • All Versa 2 devices come with Fitbit Pay.  If your bank does not support Fitbit Pay, or you don't use it for a transit system, then you won't be able to use Fitbit Pay.
  • Users expected the Spotify would be able to load playlists, but that not how it works.  It allows you to control the Spotify app on your phone.

The firmware is the same.  All other features are the same.

The versa 2 has way better battery life, it also is alot faster!

Bigger and brighter screen.

 

You CAN activate Alexa in a non supported country by changing your country to a country that has Alexa support (but then you have to use that country's language, but English works fine in Sweden for example.
