Total calories burned on non workout says HIGHER than workout days

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For example

Wednesday 1/15, total calories burned was 2562.  I used my gazelle machine for 1hr, burning 600 calories (according to my fitbit). Subtract my BMR (approx 1675) from that and I only burned an extra 287 that day working (fairly active - retail management).

Thursday 1/16, total calories burned was 2592! No working out, same relative activity level at work. Subtract my BMR and you get 918 burned!

So either the fitbit isn't working properly or working out isn't worth it .

@JammaB You would have to compate heart rate recordings for both days as well as calorie burn per hour and steps. Perhaps you can post some screenshots from your Fitbit mobile app? It is important to see the stats per hour not just totals.
