I hate to be that person but I am .. I am so disappointed in the Versa. I should have stayed with my Alta. First of all, it is constantly disconnecting from wifi. Second, my miles do not sync with my steps. Switching out the bands are nearly impossible.. Big big big disappointment.

As for WiFi your versa should only connect while it is charging. At this time it will check for app updates and any music to download.
WiFi on the versa is not used for any other daily activity like a sync or notifications.
I do agree with the band comment.
As for miles we would need more help. Is this during a recorded exercise like a walk?
Is there sync issues?

There is not enough info @rockinrobin1204
Without knowing how tall or your actual stride this does not seem unrealistic.. This is a stride of 25.32 inches.
My stride is 28.14 and would take 9000 steps in those 4 miles.
I'm not sure of your gender, but women have a smaller stride then men of compairable heights and will take more steps.

That's helpful. I see. It's not the WiFi good to know. It must be a Bluetooth issue then which makes me wonder is the fault with my phone's Bluetooth or my brand new versa 2 or both?

I'm happy to report that my teen son was able to help me fix this issue. It's really important to make sure that all permissions are granted. I had to get to the point where you get a number code from the Versa to pair with the Fitbit app. I was getting a message on my Moto G7 that the Verses 2 was rejecting the pairing. Permissions on my phone and in the app that I thought we enabled weren't. Problem is now solved and I hope that it sticks. I must say that it was all connected and working properly when I first got it but then I had to redo everything I guess to fix the problem.

@TamAnn glad your up and running.
As you noticed the tracker needs to be setup through the app.
The rejected message is to be expected when using the the phones Bluetooth.

I put in 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym this morning and my Versa 2 registered 161 steps. I am so disappointed in this tracker. I have placed it on every area of my wrist and several levels of tightness and nothing has helped. I'll be putting it up on ebay to recoup what I can for it. I'll go back to my charge 2 if this is the best Fitbit can do with a smart watch.

I'm happy that the problem is fixable but weekday I don't like is that I need to fix it on a daily basis. Shortly after I wrote my response that it was fixed, I lost connection again between my phone and the Versa. I had this problem with Versa and now with the Versa 2. I always need to fix the Bluetooth connection between my witch and phone... Daily!
