Touchscreen not responding on my new Versa 2

The screen on my new Versa 2 is not responding to touch.  Help!  The screen works but the touch features don't work in any direction.  I am trying to factory reset but I don't think it's possible without access to swiping on the watch.  It doesn't appear to be possible to reset it from the app.  I love the materials and design of this tracker--it's my first Fitbit.

Unfortunately, I'm having the same problem. This is my 2nd Fitbit watch; the first one being the Blaze. I had no problems with that except that the battery died and I wasn't sure which one to get or even if I could install it myself. So here I am with a Versa 2 that's stuck on the Fitbit logo and won't move. 

How can I fix this? I just received it yesterday (Friday Dec 6th).
