Tracked exercise results showing pace instead of calories burned

Anyone know how to alter the Versa setting for this? My Blaze used to show calories burned in all settings eg. weights and yoga. I don't want the pace results - I don't move!! This surely is being investigated by FitBit as I don't really want to be editing all my exercises and deleting the real results every day!

Hey @sofijomac, it is nice to see new faces around! For which specific activities are you getting pace instead of calories burned? And are you getting this on the Fitbit app or on the Versa itself? Or both?

Let me know so I can help you out better!

Thanks for your response @sofijomac! I have been investigating this with my team and this is an issue that they are aware of and already working to solve it, 'cause you shouldn't get pace with those exercises you mentioned. So I will appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime.

Have a nice day!

I'm waiting a solution too. My Charge2 worked fine showing calories and now Versa show on app paces instead of calories for Weight and Spinning exercise. Thanks from Brazil!

Versa is my 3rd Fitbit and I’m considering returning it because of this issue. I’m really hoping there is a fix for this because it’s very annoying to have pace instead of calories for my Zumba and Pilates workouts 😞

@Dmiller428, calories are still there, they just don't display on the activities list. If you click on an individual activity, you should see the calories. And calories are correctly counted in daily totals. It's just too bad they don't display on the list.

AFAIK, this is only happening on the Android app. If someone is getting it on Windows or iOS, chime in!

Hey @Dmiller428, it is great to see new faces aboard! Yes, like @WavyDavey said, your calories should be there, the issue is that distance and pace may appear for exercise it shouldn't, like yoga, spinning, bootcamp, etc., and this is the issue that our team is aware of and working towards a solution. Now in regards of calories, I'd like to ask you something, when on the viewing historical calories burned or active minutes, are several consecutive months of data missing? Please give me those details, so I can help you out better.

I'll be around!

I’ve only had the versa 3 days, so no info is missing, but I have to open each workout to see the calories rather then being able to look at the summary and see my progress over time. You can see exactly when I brought the versa and it changes 7B19CED8-20CA-4270-BD6F-0E0CD1E73321.png

I have the same issue.  Was excited when I upgraded my Charge HR to a Charge 3 earlier this week that it would now track specific 'Weights' exercises, rather than a general workout, but now in the summary page it shows pace, not calories burned.  I know I can find calories if I drill into the exercise detail, but this is so clearly a bug that needs to be fixed. Please don't keep me waiting too long!

hello i am using IOS with versa. With the blaze i did not have to click each workout to see the calories burned or how long my workout was. I would like it so that it showed up on the main exercise stats screen. Most of my workouts are on a stationary bike, which i log as "spinning" or interval workouts which i log as "workouts" so pace and distance are irrelevant information to me when selecting these exercise options. Please find a fix for this! I love the look of the versa...i was very excited when i bought it but this makes me want to go back to the old blaze because it tracked the workouts in a way where I could compare my exercises and they were all in one place. 😞 frustrating that this is an issue with their new product!

Are we any closer to getting a fix for this as the original post was back in September!

I also just switched over to the Charge HR 3 and now workouts are showing pace instead of calories. I did a spin class in workout mode and went to manually change the exercise once I synced with the app and I can’t find a mode that shows calories in my exercise homepage. It’s really irritating that with the HR 2 this worked fine, but now it’s malfunctioning after I’ve spent the money to upgrade my device! 53E2C3AA-A257-4357-9676-B7520382400D.png

Do we have a solution yet?...it’s almost the end of the year this is bad I’m considering returning my upgraded device.

Do we have a solution to this? After “upgrading” to a versa this is the result. I do not like it at all. I have iOS, if that helps. 😩

There hasn’t been a fix. I think we should start leaving 1 star reviews in the app stores
