I'm a big runner and have always used map my run. Recently I purchased the versa and my distance and time do not match up to the map my run app. It's off anywhere between a half mile to a mile and around 5-8 minutes in time. Anyone else havethis issue or have suggestions?

I'm not sure what is happening @Running2012
The time will be when the activity is manually started and stopped.
If the auto detected funtion was used, there would not be any distance recorded.

l your pain I use map my run too to log my runs as the versa is always out on the distance I ran 20.49km to and the versa only logged 17km!

Yes, unfortunately this is a huge problem that many runners and bikers are running into with the Versa. The GPS is constantly connecting and then is losing the connection every 30 seconds to 1 minute in which you're exercising. This has been an issue that's been occurring since the watch first came out in April.
Many of us have returned our Versas and switched over to other watches because unfortunately, there hasn't seemed to be a solid solution introduced from Fitbit yet.

That is where the Ionic with it's built in gps is what I would choose.

I use map my run as well. Today I mapped out an 11 mile run and my versa was off by almost a whole mile!

How was the recorded map @SBrim, or you sure that having to apps accessing GPS hasn't caused any timing problems?
