Tracking my walk changed and I con't figure out why

So usually when I walk my Fitbit Versa tracks how long the walk was, my average bpm and how many calories I burned, then I get the graph on heart rate during the walk.  Yesterday it tracked how long the walk was and gave me a "pace" and average bpm.  There is no heart rate graph except for two minutes at the end of my walk, yet it says I walked for 42 minutes.  And I have no active minutes.  I don't understand why this happened.  Has anyone else had this happen?  I haven't changed any of the settings.

May I ask which of the 4 possible ways you used to track your walk?

Active minutes are based on calories burnt, which is mostly based on the heart rate reading.

For help with the heart rate let's look at fitbits help docs.

I'm not sure what the 4 possible ways are.  I haven't changed any settings.  On yesterday's walk in particular I felt that I was walking at a pace at least equivalent to if not better than most of my previous walks.  However, during previous walks it has never measured my pace so I can't compare that.  And yesterday it said my heart rate was 100% in the fat burn category, however, it only tracked the final 2 minutes of the walk.  But it says I walked for 42 minutes.  I don't understand what happened to the first 40 minutes.

It says your walked for 42 minutes but only tracked the last 2 minutes.

In what way did it only track the last 2 minutes? You said it tracked your walk as being 42 minutes.

I do not understand

When you go under "exercise" and look on Sunday it shows "walk."  It has the distance, pace and average bpm.  When you open up that walk, it shows the distance, duration of 42 minutes and pace, time in heart rate zones of 0 min. peak, 0 min. cardio, and 2 min. fat burn.  And then the heart rate graph below that shows only the last 2 minutes of the walk.  Under "impact on your day" it shows +1803 steps and +100 calories burned and +0 active minutes.

This seems to be a glitch that just happened to me.  Maybe it wasn't seated on my wrist properly to track everything, but it just seems to be odd that it thinks I walked for 42 minutes and just tracked the last 2.
