Tracking way too many active minutes

Today my Fitbit Versa is tracking WAYYY too many active minutes. I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary today. Went to work like usual. It should currently be at 0 and it’s at 280 minutes. I tried the reset but it didn’t seem to do anything. It didn’t wipe the watch of data or anything. I chatted someone on support and they had me try the reset again. After it didn’t appear it would work they said they could offer me 25% off a new product because I am outside the warranty. What?! How is this the only solution? This has been an awesome device. I have taken great care of it. And now all the sudden I’m just screwed? Someone help!

I am having the exact same problem! I woke up this morning and it said I had like 90 active minutes and 1000 burned calories. I tried the factory reset and it did nothing.

Did you happen to notice if yours is tracking your heart rate as abnormally high for what you're doing? I was sitting on the couch and it said mine was 144bpm. No way is that right.

Yes this is exactly what is happening. The heart rate is reading crazy. It said I was at 150 just sitting on the couch. Which is clearly way too high. I just can’t believe there is no other fix for this except resetting it.

I ended up just turning off the heart rate monitor for now which really annoys me. Sent from my U.S.Cellular© Smartphone
