Tracks sleep when I am not wearing it

My Versa watch tracks inaccurate Sleep analysis. Today I took off my watch in the morning and in the evening about 2-3 hours. It seems like Versa thought I am sleeping and logged those hours. Is it correct? Does anyone had same problem?

I've not experienced the issue you described.

If you haven't already done so it's advisable to restart your device. You can do this by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo), repeat this a couple of times.

Thanks for the reply. I have restarted the device as you said and I put it on my bed (off my wrist). I see the heart rate is showing 81 to 82 bpm without wearing the watch. So I think it’s something wrong with the watch.

Mine did this today when I took it off & put it on the bench, noticed tonight it had recorded that time as ‘sleep’, this is the first time it’s done this, will try the restart o.O

The only other thing I can suggest is a full factory reset, this would rule out any software issues. 

If you think it a hardware fault, your only option will be to contact customer support.

I did the factory reset but still I see the same problem. I have contacted customer service and they said the same thing to do factory reset and check couple of days. Will see for next two days if the problem still persists then I will return back the watch or will get an exchange.

I have returned back my versa watch. It’s not worth it if it shows inaccurate heart rate.

Mine is doing the same thing. I have had trouble with my versa from day 1 and now that it’s working.  it’s now saying I’m sleeping when I’m up or there’s times I don’t even have it on or it’s charging and it says I’m sleeping. What’s going on. Resets do not work either never had a problem with my charge 2. Also when not wearing it’s saying my heart rate totally inaccurate.
