I can't believe how many negative things I am reading on this.  I wouldn't have wasted my money if I knew this was going to happen....Help!!!  I am ready to throw my Versa out the window!!!!I

I can't get music to transfer...   it goes to about 5 songs they it just gets stuck.  I don't get an error message - I don't get anything....   it just sits on "transferring" and does nothing.  I have wasted the last 3 days trying to get music on here.  My computer is not "sleeping"...  I have been sitting with it on my lap for over 6 hours now.....      I need a fix please!!!!!!

So, my Versa did an update yesterday.  I was hoping it was going to fix the music transfer issues.  Well, it has made it beyond worse!!!!  Now I can't even transfer one song!   Now it just keeps saying transferring music - then it says errror, Versa has disconnected.  It had not disconnected!  I have both the laptop and Versa on the same wifi.  All music is MP3 format....    HELP!!!!  This is truly the worst piece of technology ever!!!   How do I get rid of the update so I can at least have a few songs on here?????  Or better yet how does this get fixed so I can actually use it properly?

I am having the same issues, have tried re-booting all devices, computer, versa and phone, disconnecting and re-connecting, using bluetooth with wi-fi then just wi-fi.  by the time I will have uploaded my music it will have gone out of the charts.

Yeh, I decided to try the Pandora route at this point. Figured it would be easier than apple music! I'm paying $5/ mo while I decide which way to go but I found out Pandora is no longer free like it used to be (it's been a few years!). Oh well, still trying because I love my Versa and I finally have the headphones sinked and Pandora finally loaded enough songs to enjoy it. I left it overnight and it finally loaded!

I sure hope it's fixed soon. I also am not able to tell if its making progress or not. The bar that shows the estimated time of download is black and not showing the minutes left and says that its still determining the time. Should I try to restart the transfer? The Versa's music app is showing the songs greyed out but all I see on the desktop app is the purple spinning dots on song #1.... HELP!!!

Thanks for that. It looks like its working faster...

LOL... Mine as well at first but Im using a work system because I refuse to update to windows 10 at home yet. hahaha... However, I moved to another PC and restarted the transferring process (had to rebuild the song list.. urrr) and its working. It showed 1hr 12 mins and I disabled the sleep mode so that it wont pause. This is a lot just to add music. I also wished the drag and drop actually worked. I have to reopen every time and I can't add multiple songs to the list at a time. Bummer

Okay, now not working so well. I keep getting an error ar song #4 and I cant fix the error..!! How do you remove a song that has caused an error? How do you "pause" the transfer and remove songs? This is way too much. I'm really frustrated. Why cant we transfer over Bluetooth? This wifi thing sucks

Where are you pulling your music from. If it’s a playlist I. Apple you do it in Itunes. I’ve just given up for now and joined Pandora to play something. Transferring music needs more development I afraid!

What I e seen in conversations as well as my own experience it takes hours.  Call customer service if you need too

Slow is an understatement... I agree that the problem would be solved by either allowing the transfer directly from the phone, or by simply plugging the dock into the computer and transferring music as a storage device, which would be far faster. Doing it through WiFi through the PC, to the phone, to the watch, seems very convoluted...

So wait, why can't you just use your phone and transfer files using Bluetooth? Seems like this feature was implemented as an afterthought. I hardly ever use my desktop PC anyway.

HI I too am having the same issue. I still haven't figured out it out. In addition the pandora download took about 3 hrs!! I have purchased about 6 Fitbit devices and have been very happy with them over the years. Just picked up the Versa yesterday and have spent too much time on it already.

It's pathetic, with all the years of know-how and the amazing community of users recommendations, that Fitbit cannot release an amazing knock your socks off product that doesn't makes us want to tear our hair out. I love the Versa. Does everything I want but not transfer music. Transfer music through wifi is slow, painful, constant drops or "Still trying to connect". Simple fix FITBIT - OPTIONS! Give us the ability to physically connect the watch to our machines and manually drag and drop playlists and not rely on wifi only.........  I don't want an apple watch but my friends show me the easier and stress free setup.... It shouldn't be this painful to load music. Come on FITBIT!!

I suppose it’s nice to know that it isn’t me, it’s Fitbit.

it took me several tries just to get to the point where it was actually transferring music and my PC says that’s going to take about 5 hours to move 150 songs.

Fix this Fitbit, the music feature is a big reason people buy a device like this.

By far the worst every file transfer system in the entire history of software technology. Took 40 minutes to transfer 88mb on a superfast WiFi network. Awesome work Fitbit!!!!

Never heard of something called USB file transfer, right? Fire those idiots who designed this file transfer system. You can definitely get better developers than this.

Did anyone get a fix for this? I'm really pissed off with fitbit. It just says "transferring" and then crashes.

I bought this for the music. it only works with Deezer apparently, not amazon music also.

Ho hum,
