Trying to Update Versa Lite for over 48 hours!

Hi I have tried to update my Versa Lite for over 48 hours - it was going well had taken over 12 hours it was nearing the end of the update when it started switching itself on and off - white fitbit sign for over 30 seconds then green and then the message to start download app.  I have the app, my phone and fitbit are connected but it keeps repeating the above and my phone states it is updating.  This has now been going for nearly 36 hours - and yes the fitbit and phone are both fully charged and next to each other.  I am not happy as I have runs I am doing and not being able to use the Fitbit.  I previously had a Fitbit Blaze and updated to the Lite for Xmas.  The initial set up was long about 12 hours but I accepted that as it was new, but this is getting a little frustrating.  If I cannot resolve the issue today I will be sending the Fitbit back and requesting a refund.  Anyone able to assist?

I have had the same problem and only had it for 5 days. Been trying to update since thursday Tried all the trouble shooting tips and still doing the same. Keeps saying down load Fitbit app. Will be interested to hear what they suggest now.

Hi got it working 😀 whilst it was connecting via Bluetooth on my phone I opened the Fitbit app up on my laptop and connected the Fitbit via usb to laptop it then started updating and now works. Only thing now is it is not picking up on my active minutes🙃 hope that helps 😀
