Trying to transfer music from Mac to Versa

I have tried for 3 hours now to transfer Music to my Versa.  This is insane.  I have read all the forums (and the other angry people) as well as the answers.  I tried to change a band this morning and literally gave up.  I worked at it for 45 minutes, used tools I bought separately after trying before, broke several nails, and still have no band on the versa.  The company is completely missing the boat on their products and have a $4 stock to show for it.  If you buy a Google or Apple product, it comes out of the box an works.  What is fitbit doing?  Completely bewildered customer.

Hi @FBTrying, welcome to the Community Forums!

I'm sorry for the issues that you've had with the Versa, and thanks for reading the suggestions posted in the Forums. I see where are you coming from and I'll be helping you with this. To investigate, may I know if you've received an error message when transferring music? Is the format of your playlist MP3 or MP4 w/ audio? While you've tried this process before, I want to make sure that the process is being done in the correct order. Please check the following steps:

  1. First, open the Fitbit app on your phone and sync your Versa.
  2. Then tap on the Account icon > Versa > WiFi and make sure the WiFi shows as connected.
  3. Once that is done, turn off the Bluetooth in your phone and any other device nearby.
  4. Open iTunes on your computer > Edit > Preferences > Advanced and make sure the options for "Share iTunes Library XML with other applications" is set to OK.
  5. Open the Fitbit software on your computer and click on "Manage My Music". If asked, log in to your Fitbit account.
  6. Plug the Versa into the charging cable and place it in the same room where the WiFi router is located. Your computer must be connected to the same WiFi.
  7. On your Versa, swipe from right to left, tap on Music > Transfer Music.
  8. Once the Fitbit software has found your Versa, it'll show all playlist available to be transferred.
  9. Then drag and drop the music files from Finder to the Fitbit software.
  10. This process might take a long time depending of the size or how many songs you'll transfer.

About your other inquiry, I'd recommend to check this help article where you'll find a step by step video to attach the band to the device.

Let me know how it goes.
