Turn off all notifications from Fitbit watch

Hi,

Is it possible to turn off all hourly alerts ( any kind of sounds, vibrations etc)  using fitbit watch only ( not using app)

For few days, I need to turn off my phone  due to silent meditation trip but I want to use my regular fitbit watch function ( like time, alarm) and turn off all kind of other notifications.

Is it also possible to turn off bluetooth on watch to save battery life since for few days, it won't be able to communicate with phone.

It looks like issue was due to clock face.I had #Htw Move It! Clock face and there is special setting section for clock face where I need to disable it.

I had no idea that clock faces has its own settings and those settings looks like have higher preference than whatever you setup in fitbit app ( reminder to move)

Hi @sanjay92  you'd want to be sure there are no alarms set and no hourly reminders. If you're afraid you might go over your step goal, raise it to such a high number that you can't possibly attain it and get the celebratory vibration and lights. On your phone, be sure to remove all permissions involving Fitbit. You might want to test this for a day before going on your trip. Your device will hold the stats for a few days, but bluetooth is actually turned off on the phone, not the Fitbit. Sounds like a lovely trip and may you find peace and contentment.

I have disabled reminder to move but I still gets some vibration alert  ( n steps left to complete 250 steps this hour). Where is setting to disable this ?

Go to the Fitbit App. Tap the image of your device. Under General Notifications, turn off the reminder to move. Check under Notifications to see if something is still checked.

I have already done that.

Under Notifications, Calls is turned on (which is okay)

and  Fitbit which is ON.

It looks like there is some setting where you setup 250 steps and it is not reached, it will keep reminding every hr. I want to turn this off. I don't see any setting whether I can enter number of steps . In the setting , reminder to  move is off

Start and end Time : 10am to 6pm (  since reminder is off so this should not matter)

Is it some kind of BUG ?

Hey @Odyssey13 , nice to see you around. Thank you for your help and your posts. They have been very accurate.

@sanjay92 , a warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your information and for trying the steps provided by Odyssey13!

Your Versa Lite is on the latest firmware version. Have you tried putting your Versa Lite in Don't Disturb mode?

On the main clock face, please swipe down, as if you were reading your messages. Swipe down again, and you should get the Quick Settings menu. fitbit-versa-2-quick-settings-1.jpg

You should see a gray bar with a music and a 2 bars icons.

Tap on the 2 bars. There you should find the buttons for Don't Disturb -, Sleep modes and 3 more Icons.

Tap on the Don't Disturb to activate it

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks @Odyssey13  and @JuanFitbit

I have talked to support and they have asked to reboot it which looks like worked since I don't remember seeing that alert past hr but it may be too early to tell.

I will post tomorrow

Still I get vibration alert for steps ( complete x steps to reach 250 goals)  even I turned on "Don't disturb". However alert is pretty quick so I don't know how to capture screenshots since it goes away very quickly.

Hi @sanjay92 , thank you for your reply and for the shared pictures! Seems that the watch is not taking the settings from the app.

Please uninstall the app, restart your phone (off/on) . Reinstall the app after the phone is back on. Log in and sync your Versa Lite again.

Ok, I did this too but I still get this alert. I am sure this is some kind of bug in software.

If you turn off bluetooth, do you still get it? I was wondering if you simply removed the Fitbit app while you're in complete silence and then reinstalled it when you're back to normal life.
