Two dead Versas in eight months - so at what point do we all say, hey , we're being sold crap.

Got a Fitbit Versa for Christmas 2018.  In May 2019, the battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few hours.  I did all the Fitbit wizardry as they told us to do.

Spent a few days and many many emails back and forth before Fitbit admitted they sold me a pretty , shiny pebble.  Shiny and dead, like a pebble.

Fitbit sent a new pebble in May 2019.  In August 2019, it stopped recording sleep data.  Checked all the forums, did all the prescribed recommendations.  Did a factory reset.  Oh, now this new Fitbit is dead. Won't start!  It's dead.  It has ceased to exist.

It's apparent from the amount of unsatisfied customers, smart consumers who know how to follow basic instructions, that Fitbit is selling a shoddy product.  I urge all consumers who have had their Fitbits last such a short time, and have had idiotic replies from Fitbit 'bots and auto replies to their solid concerns, to contact the Better Business Bureau, as I have done.  Perhaps multiple complaints will finally attract some attention .  I have never experienced such a shoddy product , electronic or otherwise.

I want my money back from my broken Versa two Versas ago.  Sending more **ahem**ty products doesn't solve the original problem, Fitbit!!!!!!!!!

Mine died last night while charging. Went to take it off and it was HOT. I contacted support and was told to run the usual tests. Not sure how I'm supposed to run tests when my initial email told you it was DEAD. I'm waiting on a reply to my most recent email. Not sure how they plan to resolve this but with what seems to be an uptick in dying devices this week, they clearly have a problem on their hand. I'm very seriously considering jumping ship to another brand but I just spent almost $200 on this less than a year ago!

I have had the same experience -  my replacement Versa died withing 1 month.  FitBit will not send a replacement or fix it.   These things are expensive - I am disgusted.  I will file with the Better Business Bureau as well.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau. Today Fitbit offered me a full
refund. I’ve never purchased such a faulty product. I loved Fitbit and even
bought stock, but even the stock price is almost worthless.
