Unable to connect Beats Solo 3 with Versa 2

I've gotten my watch to connect to my beats solo3, however. it is not showing up as an option in the spotified app on my watch? it only gives me the option to play from my phone or my echo dot. how do I get the headphones to work with the spotified app?

they connect to the versa no problem. I can use them with deezer and other audio apps. but they do not work with the spotified app on my watch

Hey did you ever manage to get this sorted? 

Having the exact same problem, my versa 3 will not show my beats headphones on the Spotify app even though headphones are paired with the versa it’s driving me mental!
