Unable to connect headphones with Versa 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi all.

I'm having a nightmare with my versa 2. Been trying to pair it with my Sony WM 1000XM3 headphones. Can't find them although my phone picks then up no problem.

Any help would be great as I really want to use my watch and earphones at the gym without having to take my phone in.

Thanks all

Hope you've all had a great Xmas day.

Susie

Hi @Sjac, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch? for instructions to properly connect your Sony WM 1000XM3 headphones with your Versa 2. Also, you can try restarting your Fitbit and the headphones too.

Let me know if you have any additional questions. Happy Holidays for you too!

I feel your pain; the bluetooth on the Versa 2 is pretty miserable. That said, of the numerous devices I've tried, the watch has always found the device as long as it was in pairing mode. If you've already paired the headphones with your phone, then it may be auto connecting to your phone. I would check the manual for your particular headphones and make sure you have them in pairing mode.

I had the same problem and got it working.  In the Versa 2 Bluetooth settings, click Audio Device. Then, on the Sony WF-1000XM3 hold both the L and R at the same time for 7 seconds. Make sure to turn off the Bluetooth connection to any other device as it will connect to that instead.

Yup, the headphones need to be in there discovery mode.

Another issue for some is that when turning the headphones on, they connect to the phone before the fitbit can find them. You may need to turn the phones Bluetooth off. Once connected to the fitbit, BT can be turned back on.
