Unable to connect my Versa

Hi. Got my husband Fitbit versa as never used since installed in his phone so deleted his account and reset the watch to factory. Installed the app in my phone Samsung note 5 (Wi-Fi on, Bluetooth on) the watch give me the the 4 numbers then nothing the watch still same never connected.. Any help please

Hi, assuming that you have a Fitbit Account, go to the Fitbit app and see if Versa is present as the device. If yes, delete your Versa, restart your phone, put your Versa in the charger connected to a PC and try to set it up again in the Fitbit app. When you see the four digit numbers, enter them in the Fitbit app and proceed with the next step. I would recommend to skip the WiFi settings one, cause that takes too many time, and set it up later after your Versa is connected to you phone. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply Kuzibri. I normally get the 4 digits every time; it shows found in my phone but the watch does't react as I can still see the fit bit logo and the msg ( to start install the fitbit app) did uninstall and instal the app, phone restarted.. the app in my phone doesn't show any versa I even deleted everything and did it with new mail address 😞

@SunsetRunner Please do the following:

 

1. Go to your phone bluetooth settings and delete Versa from Paired Devices list (forget the device)

2. Reboot your phone and Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo flashes

3. Open fitbit mobile app on your phone and set up Versa by adding it as a new device. Grant all permissions and follow instructions on the screen. It will pair automatically.
