Unable to find Health & Wellness reminders on app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I was reading something that said you can add reminders for hand washing and water intake reminders under the health and wellness reminders tab and I have followed the directions on how to get there but I don't have a health and wellness reminder tab or anything that comes close. I have searched the app high and low as well as the desktop version and came up empty handed. Attached are the directions can anyone help me??? I have an android and am using the Versa 2.

I agree, likewise.  I will try to find out more and let you know if I can.

Right now all I can guess is that it's in a new app version that they documented before releasing it.

@Lilmommaprepper  @JohnnyRow   I agree with both of you.  I am currently using a Charge 4, but I can't find them on my phone app, either.  I can't find anything when I look as directed.

Hey fibitters

I am trying to add the health and wellness reminders for Versa lite. I understand you get them with a premium subscription. I cannot find them at all and have trouble shoot with the Fitbit Facebook messenger team to no avail. All permission are on and same with notifications. I have deleted and reinstalled app, logged out and logged in and also readded my Versa lite. I am not sure what else to do? I have also restored purchases etc. it was my understanding that all Versa devices would have the health and wellness reminders ability? I have also updated the app and my Versa to the latest version. My model is FB415 and Fitbit version 38.71.6.19. Is there anything I am missing?

From phone app 'Today' page > profile pic (top left) > your device (Versa Lite) > 'Health & Wellness Reminders'.

it just doesn’t appear 😢

Hmm. I wasn't sure if you knew where to find them.  Are you sure you have been granted Premium?  At top of 'Today' page, says 'fitbit premium'?

Yes it definitely does. I’ve also “restored purchases” just in case

Thanks anyway, that’s why I am at a bit of a loss at what to do

Looks like should be able to get 'wash your hands' without Premium anyway.

What health and wellness behaviors can I set reminders for?

Yeah that’s what I thought but still don’t have the option there for the free reminder anyway?

I made suggestion about these reminders being given to all users, as a response to them being promoted as a Premium feature, but I can suddenly see the option on my App (Android) and I've activated them. I am not subscribed to Premium.

So it appears they are rolling it out for all users anyway? I've just activated them in the app I haven't had any reminders yet to see how they're set up exactly.

Oh that would make sense, do you think it hasn’t been rolled out to Apple IOS yet? Hopefully soon as I’m really keen to set up the water reminder

I have a Charge 4 and have the same issue - I would like to turn them off, but do not have the Health and Wellness as an option.  I also want to get rid of the reminders to drink water!

Thanks!

Hi @LizzyFitbit thanks for your reply!  Just as an FYI - the device vibrates 5 or 6 times every time it sends one notification to wash my hands and drink water, it's driving me potty!

I have a Samsung Galaxy 9 which uses Android version 10.

Attaching a screenshot of what I see there as well as one to show that the app is up-to-date.

Thanks a lotScreenshot_20200916-022149_Fitbit.jpgScreenshot_20200916-022219_Fitbit.jpg

I have the reminders all set on for the last 2 weeks and none of them work.  The "REminder to move" one works just fine.  I am on chat with Fitbit now and they will not acknowledge that there is an issue with the rollout, they just keep telling me to restart my device, turn on notifications, etc. I also have Fitbit Premium and they keep saying it's an issue on my end.  😞

Hi @astrajk. It's nice to see you again.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information and the screenshot. It's odd that your Charge 4 is getting those reminders despite of not having the  Health & Wellness tab. Because you have an Android phone, please give one last try to the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen and tap Force Stop.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, log back in and try turning off the reminders one more time.

Keep me posted!

Thank you so much for explaining how to turn that stupid wash hands reminder off. Mine vibrated to remind me to wash my hands at some ungodly hour (4:20am) and woke me up as a result. NOT HELPFUL!!!! I hope I managed to turn it off and never have it wake me again!

@LizzyFitbit- thanks very much for your last message.  I must say, I did follow your instructions, twice, and nothing 😞 I even went as far as logging out, removing the app from my phone and re-installing it.  Still nothing.  I removed the app from my Galaxy S9 and downloaded it onto my Galaxy S7 (which uses Android version 😎 and am still receiving these reminders - not only to wash my hands, but to drink water and take time to relax.  I really am at a loss as to how to turn them all off (I don't even know how they managed to be turned on in the first place!).

Thank you again
