Hi, I have purchased a Versa 3 for my dad and he is facing a similar problem in Iran. The app has asked for log in information in Iran and each time we enter Username and Password is states invalid Username and Password?! I have tried the same username and password in UK and logs in to his account fine.
If it is an issue with sanctions, the watch has turned into a redundant $200 piece of kit in Iran which is disappointing. The part which surprises me is that many Iranians including my sister have Apple Watches which are working perfectly fine in Iran.

I understand this isn't the case and to work on this, may I know the model and OS version of your dad's phone? These details will help me to further investigate.
