Unable to receive Low-Battery Notifications.

I have stopped receiving low battery warnings for my Fitbit versa.  In the app, I have the push notifications set to ON.  I have restarted the watch several times, as suggested elsewhere.  (I even shut it down every night to conserve power.) Still not getting notifications.  I even checked the settings by logging in to Fitbit.com, and it is set correctly.  This is quite frustrating when the watch dies in the middle of the day without warning.  I tried turning the email notifications on for a bit, but that didn’t work either.

The watch is syncing on a regular basis, with my iPhone SE.  The app and iOS are up to date.

I ended up having to purchase a second charger to keep at work just in case.

Is there an app that can be installed on the watch that will give low battery warnings?

@Marrrmaduke Smiley Very Happy You sound more frustrated than I am.

It is indeed my first fitbit.  I got it in May, 2018 which is also when I first installed the app.  I have done the updates as they've come through.

I'm having better luck with the app than you by the sounds of it, everything else seems to work fine.  It does think I'm on an elliptical when I'm walking, but that's easily changed.  The only other thing it does that bothers me is fitbit pay tries to activate anytime I'm near RFID readers where I work.  (I've contributed to a feature suggestion about that here).  Doesn't do it anywhere else.

@CrysFit I know, right? 😋 Fitbit app is the only app I back up to be able to roll back. I must have done that 5 times already. For various models of Fitbit. I started with Fitbit Charge HR, then upgraded to Charge 2 and now Versa. I do love the devices, the whole platform but the app is the weakest link here. Its UI is decent, the concept is not bad but the execution is lacking. Nevertheless, I hope Fitbit gets the bugs ironed out. Probably within next 6 months or so. Same happened with my previous fitbits.

@CrysFit I think we shamed it into finally sending a notification. 😋
