Mark, I would appreciate some enlightenment.  I am unable to find a "Weekly Exercise" tab in the Fitbit App on either my phone or Windows 10 computer.  Please lead me to it.

I'm on Android. Don't know if you are, and if other devices are different. If you click on the account tab at the top of the app, it opens settings. Scroll down to the exercise tab and click. Top option is weekly exercise goals. I have options for 1 to 7 days goal for exercise. No 0 option. So I'm assuming it's erased from your dashboard. On the bottom of your dashboard click edit and add the weekly exercise tab.

I can't find the weekly exercise goal tile on the Computer Windows 10 dashboard, but it has recent exercise, which shows connected GPS maps. So maybe the exercise goal tile is only on Android?

In my earlier posts, I told the OP where he could find the maps of his walks on the Fitbit.com website and sent him a snip.  That holds true for both computer and phone.

I can follow your Fitbit App directions for setting exercise goals and I have Android also.  Are you saying your maps show up there after your exercise?

Incidentally, the weekly exercise settings you describe are also on the computer.

Yes, every exercise I ever did with Fitbit can be scrolled through by clicking the phone app either Track exercise or weekly exercise tile. S5 has weekly exercise tile, S7 has track exercise tile on the dashboard, but once inside it shows the 7 day progress. Every ride I ever did that didn't have issues is mapped there. And by using connected GPS, distance and average speed are included.

Well IDK. I only see recent exercise on the Computer, not the weekly exercise.

This is right from the phones (S7) track exercise tile in the Fitbit app. They are actually clickable links that open for navigating and more info.

Hello guys.

Glad to see you both here.

@SunsetRunner In order for you to see the maps on the app for Android, you need to go to the tile that has the guy running

2.png

It displays the weekly exercise goal by default and if you don't have any exercises for the current week it may also show "Track Exercise." Once you tap there, you're taken to the feed that @MarkMM's screenshot shows, which has the goal and all the previous activities listed there. If the exercise has a GPS map attached, it will show it there.

If you don't see the tile, you'll need to scroll down until you find the "Edit" button at the bottom of the dashboard and add it that way.

Sorry for the picture's quality! I just got one standard screenshot from google.

MarkMM and lufalulz, thank you both very much for your very helpful posts and the furthering of my education about my unexplored areas in the Fitbit App.

Hello everyone great information you have shared regarding the original question, I see there is not much to add here.

@Baysidefish were you able to find your GPS activity? By any chance you need additional help? Just to add more details, in order to track a GPS exercise is require to use either Connected GPS or MobileRun, this is different from the SmartTrack exercises that are automatically recorded, which is not require for GPS exercise. For more help please refer to our article: How do I use exercise apps and modes on my Fitbit device?

@MarkMM you mentioned that you were not able to see the weekly exercise goal using the Windows 10 app. For those who need this, this option is available too as it is with Android. In case it helps, you can find this option by going to the weekly exercise tile represented as is in the mobile app:

Weekly1.png

Here you will have access to all your exercise history and in the top of the window, there is a gear icon that will show you the options to change the Weekly exercise goal. Here just select the amount of days and you'll be set.

I want to take the opportunity to give a special shout out to @SunsetRunner, @Lufalulz and @MarkMM for your great input and help.

See you around and stay awesome!

@RobertoME So in order to use GPS, I need to open Excercise app and select the exercise I want and connect to the GPS. Once I am done, I click stop, correct?

Also, when I am using Excercise app, can I see the time? or I need to stay on the app? thanks

@RobertoME, I didn't say Windows 10 APP. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Logged into my account with Chrome on Windows 10 on a Computer, Fitbit has the clickable dashboard listed. I don't have the weekly exercise tile on that dashboard. Not really a big deal since I use phones for Fitbit most of the time anyway. Was just noting it's not there.

Hello there @Baysidefish and @MarkMM, I'm sorry for my absence and thank you for your questions.

@MarkMM thank you for the clarification, actually I was wondering if you were referring to the app or was  Windows 10 web-Dashboard. I guess I pick the incorrect one and my apologies if this caused any confusion. Is correct that the weekly exercise tile is not available, this is limited only to the Fitbit app.

@Baysidefish you are correct. However this depend on the tracker as the exercise app is only available in Blaze, Ionic and Versa. If you have one of this tracker, then you need to open the exercise app and select the activity. If the exercise has GPS enable, it will tell you that is connecting for what is need your phone around (Ionic has GPS built in, no need to carry your phone for this feature).

The time is displayed on your tracker along with other details of your exercise. So, no need to keep your app open all the time.

See you later friends. Keep posting if you have other questions.

I did not realize that Fitbit exercise option would give a GPS map. After reading through everyone's comments, I was really excited to try out the feature. I have the Fitbit app open on my iPhone 8plus, and started the exercise (run) on my Versa. After I finished, I noticed some slight difference in what information was recorded. But I did not see the GPS map. The difference is that now it has the distance, pace, and distance cues, followed by the zones of heart rate, the heart rate graph, the calories burned, and the impact on your day.

I checked the Fitbit.com profile on PC/win10/chrome, but it shows the same result as the Fitbit app on my phone. Any idea what went wrong?

Hi all, I had finally figured out what went wrong. I had missed the authorization for the Fitbit to connect to a nearby Bluetooth devices. But once that is connected, the map shows up for the exercise.

If I go to the excersize tab, it doesn't show the map for my morning walk, it does however show for the walk I did 2 days ago. Why? I don't take my phone with me, I log the excersize with my versa, as it connects with the GPS. Also, I can't add walk to my excersize choices? It does show at the auto recognized choices. Please help
