Unable to set up Versa 3 on my account

I hate to say this, but Fitbit is truly coming crap.

I was so excited when I purchased my Fitbit (Versa 3) last year. But lately, it is becoming almost crap.

Sometimes, just as it did last night, my Versa 3 began restarting itself and going into this endless re-start cycle. This forces me to re-set it. Thankfully, my Versa 3 managed to make it an entire two months or so, without doing this. (For a while there, my Versa 3 would endlessly restart itself like every two weeks.)

I had said to myself that the next time it restarted itself, I would just be done with Fitbit. It’s a pain to have to re-do all the settings and everything.

The weird thing too is that it seems to do this at the same time. I have noticed that when my Fitbit does go into this endless re-start, it is usually in the evening, or at night after I’ve gone to bed. Very weird.

Anyway, I got up this morning and began the process of getting my Fitbit back up and running. Again, this is such a pain to go through the whole process again of unpairing my Versa 3 from Bluetooth on my ipad, repairing it, re-doing all the appropriate settings in the Fitbit app, etc.

So of course I’m in the Fitbit app re-doing everything. I have to add my cards back into Fitbit Pay. And Fitbit Pay is giving me problems in the Fitbit app. Every time I try to add my cards back it is aying an error occurred please try later. These are the same cards I’ve had in there before.

I’ve never had THIS much trouble re-adding my cards back to Fitbit Pay before.

This is not good quality service from Fitbit.

What is the purpose of Fitbit anymore if their system sucks this much?

@Freelancerjourn I don't have an answer for your problems. However, I would like to test your situation on my watch (Sense) .

Can you tell me what clockface(s) you have installed and what apps you use (or have installed).

What I don't do is setting up Fitbit Pay, because I don't need or use that.

I'm going to reset my watch and see what will happen. (I still have warranty 🙂 )

I know my watch sometimes reboots on an app I made myself, because it takes too much memory

Hello, and thank you. I have Fitbit’s own Photo clock face. I had a third party clock face before. But when my Versa 3 first began restarting itself, someone suggested a third party app could be the issue. So now I use Fitbit’s own Photo clock face.

I've made a factory reset, but all my apps and clockfaces got back on the fitbit.
I don't think it has to do with the clockface. that would be very curious.
I suspect the use of Fitbit Pay.
What you can do is get rid of Fitbit Pay and see if there's an improvement,
or use another clockface, the choice is yours.

But to be correct: you use only one clockface? And don't you use any apps? (not even those that are installed automatically?)

I'm testing an app with over 300(!) pictures and it has no influence on the fitbit. So I'm very curious about the source of the problem.
