Unable to set up Versa on iPhone 8/iPhone X

My Versa will not download.  I go through all the steps and it says Found it but nothing.  We thought it may be my Iphone 8 but my sons X does the same  My watch is tracking my steps etc, but I cannot get my phone to take the data or download the versa.  I have deleted app reinstalled twice, turned off phone you name it.  Help.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums, for sharing your experience and for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment, if you're still having trouble setting up the Versa with your phone, I would like to suggest you the following steps, please follow them in order:

 

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  3. Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, then try to set up again.
  4. Plug in the Versa and make sure it's charging.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet and try to set up again.
  6. If you can't set up after the reboot, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet and try to set up the Versa one more time.
