I've had my Versa since november 2018, and have worked with it without problems for all of 2019. Until a couple of weeks ago. I was abroad for 3 weeks and ever since I left my home counry, I could not sync anymore. When I got back home, I still could not sync. I tried the following:
- I restarted the Versa
- I rebooted my Samsung Galaxy S8+
- I tried syncing a zillion times. Nothing worked.
- I removed the device from the Fitbit app on the S8+
- I removed the Versa and Versa (classic) bluetooth pairings from my S8+
- I removed the Fitbit app from my S8+
Of course after removing the device from the Fitbit app, I had to set it up all over again. But this will not work. I get the four digit code, which I then enter in the Fitbit app. Beyond that, I get the message "Sorry, the setup is taking longer than usual. Please be patient, we're on it!"
The versa actually can connect to my S8+ when I pair the Versa (classic) (and the Versa) via bluetooth again, even up to the point that I can navigate the music on my phone via the Versa. But I still cannot set up the Versa in the Fitbit app after that. And I still cannot sync my data.
I found a remark here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/One/Fitbit-won-t-pair-after-entering-4-digit-code/td-p/2283721 regarding changing a setting to "always" in the app. I did not find that exact setting, but I changed Advanced settings > Automatic location, which I assume was meant here. That did not solve my problem either.
My Galaxy S8+ is on the latest Android version available (9) with One UI version 1.0
My Versa is on the latest firmware as far as I know: 32.33.1.30
This is very frustrating, I am now unable to sync anything between Versa and phone. What is the problem here, and how can it be solved?

Granted, I haven't tried ALL of what you have tried so far, but I'm having the same problem. My versa just does not want to cooperate with my S8 bluetooth. For weeks I was getting a little notification on my phone saying "Last Sync" and then a time stamp from the Fitbit app, and it was a bluetooth issue but caused by either the app or the Fitbit. Really frustrating. And to see that support hasn't even answered you is now even more disheartening.
