Unable to set up locked Versa.

I cannot unlock my Fitbit versa with my phone. I removed the versa from Fitbit app and tried set up a Device(versa) it says to enter the number on your versa display but I cannot see the number because the versa(watch) is saying unlock with phone.. this is so frustrating
