I am trying to connect my Versa 2 with the Fitbit App on my laptop. I bought the dongle to make it possible (it says on the fitbit website, that the Dongle works with every fitbit device), but unfortunatly it does not work.
Can someone please help me, I dont get the explanation on the FAQ page.

Hi @radisli the dongle acts as a bridge between your Versa 2 and the Fitbit servers. It doesn't work if your computer isn't compatible. See if this article helps any - click to read. You need Windows 10 or you need to get the Fitbit Connect software to use on Windows 8.1, but read the article and see what's going on and let us know. If you don't meet the requirements, there isn't much else to do to use your computer. Do you have a compatible smartphone or tablet?

I am on windows 10. What do I have to do other then open the fitbit dektop app, insert the dongle and press sync?
(and yes I can use the phone for now, but I would prefer to sync it to the laptop.)

@radisli Thanks for sharing detailed information about your Versa 2, as well for every step tried prior to posting. Before anything else, let me explain that your Versa 2 was optimized to work with Android and Apple devices to ensure its connectivity and the performance of its features. While the Dongle is a universal item that can be used with older device however, it's not possible to use it with your watch.
I'm sorry for this inconvenience and I'd suggest to use a mobile device that meets the requirements to complete the setup process. Once your watch has synced, you can use the Windows 10 app to see your data and the progress toward your goals.
