Unable to setup Versa after factory reset

It all started with my heart rate not working. I would do a reset and it would work for a few hours and then fail again- go gray. Then, I noticed that my battery started dying quickly. From 100 to 80 in less than an hour. Today, my Versa was restarting itself constantly. Maybe 50 times an hour until the battery died. I charged it, turned off blue tooth, reset, blah blah. Everything the site says to do. Finally, I did a factory reset. Now, I cannot set up my device. The App does not register that the Versa is in the charging station. I have tried to reset again. Nothing works. Is this Versa gone forever?
