Unable to sync Versa with Galaxy S6 on Android 7.0

Just got the Versa as an upgrade from the Charge2, having problems activating all the apps.  Finding that my phone cannot see it on blue tooth, therefore will not sync and also means of course that I do not get any notifications other than steps control etc and cannot begin to use the music app.  Yes, I have deleted the Charge2, yes I have deleted the software and re-installed. Yes, I have the current software for both phone and fitbit.

Syncs with my ipad but I still dont get any notifications? IOS is up to date.

Feeling extremely frustrated and annoyed.

Hello @Mandy7074, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. Please take in consideration that your Versa does not sync nor pair through the Bluetooth Settings on your phone but through the Fitbit app.

As you've mentioned your Versa syncs with your iPad but not with your phone, I would like to suggest you to go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. After that, turn off the Bluetooth on your iPad and try to sync with your phone. Additionally, go to Account > Versa > Notifications on your phone and enable them. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

If your Versa is still not syncing, restart it by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, then try to sync it again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
