Unable to track activity time since last Fitbit update

Is anyone else fed up with the latest Fitbit update??  WALKERS WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO RECORD HOW MANY MINUTES THEY WALK FOR. Whereas I used to be able to track my activity minutes (I had a goal of a minimum of 2 hours walking a day), the update has withdrawn this function!  I now only get ‘activity minutes, based on my heart rate. I am intending to train for a long distance walk (86 miles next year) but Fitbit will now not be able to help me to monitor my activity time.

While  the new changes may suit joggers, runners and cyclists, Fitbit are ignoring the needs of ‘walkers’. If you agree, please lobby Fitbit to return the functionality of recording minutes of activity for walking.

Mine will allow me to track my boot camp but once I end it doesn't show up on my app only part of the workout. It started to do this when the last update happened.

@NickyN I have the d same frustration! I logged almost 11,000 steps the other day with several his showing up as being in the fat burn zone, yet I didn't earn a single active minute because of this forced active zone thing. They need to make it an option to switch between the two. I like the Bingo games for motivation, but since I'm not earning any active minutes any more, it's the opposite of motivating! Abby idea on how we "petition for a change" before I give up and return my new Versa 2 and go back to a tracker?
