Hello Guys!
I need help. I recenlty bought my Fitbit Versa last week and in the time when I added a screen protector and protective case, I didn't realize that you should turn it off since it only has a max of 10 times of entering the wrong password. Just ignored the prompts as I didn't realize it was necessary.
Now, I can't unblock my versa as it says "unblock through the phone" and change the pin multiple times and it doesn't allow the pin change. I tried calling helpline and it's taking too long.
Any advices to this? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello there @guerrerofamoso, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response. I'm wondering if the issue still continue with your Versa? Were you able to unlock your Smartwatch through your phone?
If the issue continues, perhaps logging out from your Fitbit account , resetting your phone and log back in will aid you to reset your PIN. Once you have done these steps try again:

I have the same problem however when I click on device unlock on the app it tries to connect and then says there is an error connecting

I’ve tried all this numerous times and still nothing. I tried deactivating the pay on my phone and computer but still locked. Phone reset does nothing either. I don’t even use the pay feature. Please advise. Thanks

I too have a brand new useless Versa. I have tried everything that everyone else has and have still got a Versa that cannot be found by the Fitbit app on my android phone and cannot be unlocked or reset to factory settings.
I have deleted it from the Fitbit app.
I have deleted it from the Bluetooth on my phone.
I have pressed the two buttons so that the Fitbit symbol comes up and set the Fitbit app to set up new device.
Result is that the Fitbit app returns to “try again” and the versa goes back to a clock face which when swiped still says “unlock with your phone”.
Feel like throwing it in the bin! And crying 😭

Sorry I can't explain how or why it happened but I put my Versa on charge next to where my phone was charging and when I put it back on my wrist I realised that it had connected to my S9 phone. Whether an update had been downloaded onto my phone I don't know. But since then it is connected at all times. So don't give up - it may well sort itself out like mine did!

Has anyone solved this yet? Mines is blocked and when I try to change pin it says try again later

As i couldn't unlock/change my pin, as it would not sync.
I uninstalled the app and re-installed the fitbit app and resynced it and it worked.
Hopefully it helps others as nothing else worked for me.

Hi there, I have this same problem but I unpaired my versa from my phone while setting up my new Aria2. Now my versa is locked but I can see any options for the versa on the phone or the web dashboard. Help, please! Thanks in advance 🙂

I just had the same problem and took me the whole day to fix. If you delete the app and then reinstall it, that will then let you go onto device lock, it will then make you reset your wallet and then will let you put in a new pin. Hopefully you have some luck in fixing this.

unfortunately i never found a resolution and neither did Fitbit.
My device was still under warranty so they sent me a new one out.

Can’t unblocked.Did all that you said however when try to change pin comes up as error.
then prompted to put in old pin and won’t let me do that either.

Try taking off credit cards. And then re start watch.
