Unable to upload music to the Versa.

After several resets of my computer, my versa, and the process, around 4 hours of trying with all the songs I want on my versa and 4 hours with just one song, checking and rechecking many times that (despite what it itself might say) my versa is connected to wifi and isn't going to randomly lose connection, checking over and over again to see if anyone in the community has experienced this sort of thing and finding no solution, I still can't get it to go past the "Preparing to Transfer" step. I am going to try from another computer, but is there something I am missing? It never gets past the first step (the aforementioned preparing to transfer part) and the versa in question keeps exiting the transfer music thing. I am trying to use a Microsoft Surface Windows 8 Pro (that has updated to 10) with the fitbit base station thing and I got the versa around June 9th.

Other question, why can't we just use our phones for this? I have more problems trying to use a computer for anything with any fitbit then I ever do with my phone.

Hello @Evan117, I hope you're doing well, it's great to see new members around the Fitbit Community! Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know the process you've gone through when trying to transfer music from to your Versa. Tell me, since when have you experienced this issue? Are you using a Mac or a PC to transfer music to your Versa?

At this moment I would like to suggest you to check @ErickFitbit's excellent post about how to transfer your personal music as well as troubleshooting steps for this process. Please note that even when this post is about Ionic, the Versa uses the same FibitOS so the process is exactly the same.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

The surface line of products runs Windows, and I've already seen Erick's
past several times, it didn't help. I started trying to put music on
yesterday, and started having that issue immediately.

The reply I got didn't help me. It suddenly started to work when I stopped using the sync did, but my Fitbit now decides that it's done 3/10 of the way through a playlist and the music sounds like it has minor corruption as it has static, sounds pitch shifted in two directions for each channel of audio, and sometimes it makes pitches that aren't even in the song.
