Hi there,
I came across a website that has great black Friday sales on various fitbit. The site looks good but the deals are too good to be true. Has someone tried it out. Is it legit?
Thanks

Hi @Lilicas and @JMurdawg. Welcome! I'm glad to see new faces around. @JohnnyRow, it's always great to see you here and thanks for your help.
@Lilicas and @JMurdawg, I appreciate you for bringing these links to my attention. Those websites aren't authorized and I've reported this to our team so they can further investigate. I've edited the links just to prevent others from going there, and for future purchases please make sure to check our official Fitbit store or visit our authorized retailers.
Hope to see you around more often! 😊

Scam - keeps popping up as different web site names.
Would be good if you could delete site name from post so others don't follow and get scammed.

This is definitely a scam. I encountered a similar website that has the same deal but it's not legit. Fortunately my credit union has fraud protection. If it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

Almost got scammed. The website looks legit but I noticed my web browser didn't auto-login and so I looked closer at the URL and saw the extra "i" after "fitbit". They're advertising Versa 2's for less than $30.

Thanks for sharing that with the community @Mark_Pel . Seems that domain was registered April 12, a mere 16 days ago. Wonder how many people were taken. Sad to think anyone would believe a brand new device would be selling at 80% discount so soon after it's release. The website isn't bad, but they sure sell colorful banded devices, in colors the real Fitbit doesn't have. I'm glad you weren't taken in by these people. So, now that you found the real place, see the sales going on for Mother's Day?

@yaeer27 - That would be a wonderful, simple solution ... if only it were possible. Since these are not sites owned and operated by Fitbit, Fitbit cannot “take them down.” Sadly, there are scammers everywhere, in all areas, not just Fitbit. We must all be vigilant.

Speaking of vigilant, I wouldn't even click these links. If they're already known scams, who knows if it's even safe to click around on their sites?

Just happened. https://www.fitbitstore.us/ At this point my biggest problem is with PayPal. They were not even interested in taking the seller information.

@6Pelican call your credit card company, too. I'm sure PayPal has other people working their customer support, so try calling back again.

I did speak with my credit card company. I will try PayPal again.

Looks like "Tung Trieu" is a very busy con person. I was scammed by the "fitbitstore.us" website on May 10 - though the Paypal receipt showed a different email address

I was finally able to make contact with PayPal through their Chat system. They have initiated a hold while the dispute is resolved. Appears this is a question of running out the clock, as the "seller" will only have to provide a tracking number to keep things open until delivery is made, and comments from others in similar situations indicate they will likely put a package in the system, like a pair of cheap socks, that will take a long time to deliver from China. Meanwhile other transactions make their way through and payments made if people haven't fought hard to get their dispute no record.
