Hi there,

I came across a website that has great black Friday sales on various fitbit. The site looks good but the deals are too good to be true. Has someone tried it out. Is it legit?

Thanks

I was just scammed by fitbitsport.com  They took my credit card information and it's a scam.

You've know about this for over a year why is this still on the web!

As mentioned earlier, that is not a real Fitbit website so Fitbit cannot take it down. Did you contact your credit card company?  You should file a complaint to anyone who will listen. I’m sorry this happened to you.

Yes, I've reported it to government, paypal and chase. My versa lite won't
work, I hate the customer service but I still bought a new charge 4.
I'm emailing customer service for a refund on the versa however they have
the worst customer support.

@rpmbaja11 -  As a scam site, I’d imagine their customer service is bad or nonexistent. The site you referred to is not even an authorized Fitbit retailer.

I also was scammed last weekend but Fitbit.sport.com. Came up under google search when I was looking to buy a new Charge4. I checked my paypal because I didn’t get a confirmation email. Money was sent to Vu Pham, so I knew right away. When I contacted PayPal they denied my case  because my billing dispute “ didn’t match their qualification for a bill dispute”!?  Their website is using Fitbit logo, never dawned on me that it wasn’t legit, as I have been on Fitbit site many times. My Visa had a different website listed. Going to try Visa to see if they will do anything. I didn’t realize someone could use another company logo and not be taken down for fraud?

Hello everyone. Sorry for the delay in my response.

This has been already reported to our team so they can further investigate about those unauthorized websites where you bought the Fitbit devices from.

Unfortunately, because your product was purchased through an unauthorized reseller, it is not covered by our warranty. For the details of our return policy please go to http://www.fitbit.com/returns. As you will see from those terms, the warranty only covers Fitbit products purchased directly from Fitbit or an authorized retailer. We advise contacting the seller from whom you purchased the product for further assistance.

Thank you so much for all your help and advice @SunsetRunner.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Never received any merchandise and doesn’t sound like I’m going to, just out the 30% off “sale price” of 115.00. I made a rash purchase without investigating, hoping the Charge 4 would perform better than my 3 , which had several black outs. This time would not restart, been out for a few months after trying all the restart tricks...nothing.

Yes your credit card company you can dispute it one supposed and you won't
be charged but it's a shame PayPal is not doing anything about it I'll tell
you why I tried just paying with my Visa four times and it wouldn't let me
so then I clicked on PayPal and it went through now we know why good luck

I guess you don't get it - we didn't buy anything from these sites - we were robbed and are trying to get our money returned and warning others not to wait on something that will never come- we aren't worried about a warrantee on a fitbit that will never show up - the website looked authentic

rich it's disgusting

Interesting that you're all getting scammed. I googled versa 2 and there is no fitbitsport.com anywhere in the leading results. Shopping or otherwise. Guess I'd have to look harder?

But googling a fitbit product, it doesn't come up? How'd all these people find it to get scammed?

I just googled "fitbit charge 4" and fitbitsport.com was second on the list - and the versa 2 price listed runs from $135 to $161

I'll take your word for it being there. I'm not going to even browse there. I just googled a product as if I was shopping, and it didn't even come up in price comparison..

Well if you Google that company you'll see they've done this too many
people Fitbit says there's no such company and I'm going to close this out
cuz I don't want to get any more notices good luck

I googled both Charge 4 and versa 2 and don't get fitbitsport. Amazon is second to Fitbit.com on my google.

Googling fitbitsport didn't even get results. But googling fitbitsport.com review got a couple hits.
