I have started getting an icon on my versa 3 that I don't recognise. It is an upright rectangle outline with a diagonal line through it. It only appears intermittently. Does anyone know what it is and what, if anything, I am supposed to do?

Hello @davidneill and welcome to the Community. That is one of the Status Indicators programmed on the Versa 3 and Sense. It means you lost your Bluetooth connection with your phone. Help article I often get it when my phone is simply out of range.

I am getting this icon constantly since the last update. I never had Bluetooth connection issues before, but with the last update I now get this icon constantly and I am not getting calls or text messages on my watch. I have to go to my phone's Bluetooth settings, unpair the versa 3, go to the Fitbit app, go to on wrist calls and sync from there. Clicking the sync now does not correct this. If I don't do this, it does not automatically resync. This is very frustrating. I am on a S21. All firmware is updated on both phone and Fitbit. Why is this happening and how do I prevent the constant disconnection?

@LinsAZ I'm not an Android user, but I noticed that there are a lot of posts about the S21. I think you should browse the Android forum and see if you can find an answer. If you feel like you need to start a new thread, you should post it in the Android forum, a better fit. When you mention update, are you referring to a Fitbit app update? If you think it is a Fitbit app issue, please be sure and say which version you have. You can find this by tapping on your Profile avatar, then scroll down to Help & Support.

Thanks for that. Does seem to happen when I was away from my phone.

Interestingly this has only been happening since the last update so perhaps there is an issue.

Hi this happened to me aswel! Try deleting your fitbit versa 3 from the app example removing just your watch then close the app restart your phone! Then just switch your fitbit off then switch it on then reconnect your fitbit in the app! (once you have deleted your watch please go to your Bluetooth settings and remove versa 3 and versa controls! Then open app and continue to add your watch)
