Unpaired Versa 3 and PIN is locked.

My Versa 3 wasn't synching on my phone. I was also having problems because the PIN was locked (I think the latter might be because my granddaughter was messing with my Fitbit!) I now know that I should have reset the PIN on the app, but stupidly I unpaired the Fitbit on my phone. Now I can't repair it, as when I try to do so I can't see the code that should be displayed on the Fitbit. I've tried resetting it but that's not working, and now it's not even showing the correct time. Can someone please help?

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding the difficulty that you are experiencing with Versa 3. 

Please try to perform the following steps in order to set up the device again:

  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Thanks for your advice. I had an online chat earlier and they said they
would replace it. However I then tried for the umpteenth time to reset it
and it actually worked! I'm not sure what I did differently, but I'm just
glad that it finally worked.
