I was given a replacement Versa because my fairly new Versa touchscreen stopped working. My last one was running the most recent firmware. The new device is running 32.68.9.12. There has been no offer to update the device. I am running the most recent app update. I talked to customer support but their response was that the new firmware update had not been pushed out to all devices yet. Since then I have read the Fitbit announcement that the latest firmware update has been pushed out to 100% of Versa devices. Is there not a way that Fitbit can force out an update directly to my device upon request? The future app updates need to include a “search for available updates” option.

Last week I decided to try and reset. I started by syncing my device so my data would be saved. Then I started the Reset to Factory in settings on my Versa then went to the app and removed the device. I completed the reset and update and added the device to the app when the Versa indicated. Now I am operating on the latest firmware 70.7.14.

Hi @Amariemeeks, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Keep in mind that, just as our Customer Support team informed you, the roll out process of the latest Versa firmware update is still in process and such update cannot be send directly to your device as requested.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Customer service provided the same response (for a new Versa) with no estimated date of when to expect firmware version 4. I purchased the watch specifically for this feature.

Here we are a month and a half later and still waiting for Fitbit to finish rolling out the latest update. I have my doubts. My Versa is running a version that is at least 5 updates old. Is it possible that it is not receiving the newest update because I don’t have the second newest version? When is the next update scheduled to be released? Will they finish the “rollout” before a new update is released?
