Updated Fitbit today and now my fit bit battery died within hours.

I have had my fitbit versa lite for 2 years and no issues with battery.  Once fully charged it would still last 2-3 days.  I charged my fit bit last night to 100% and then the the update this morning.  After the update my fitbit died within hours.  How can I fix this?  Had i known the update would crash my fitbit I would have never updated it.

Update.  I charged it and just took it off charger and it’s super hot to the touch. This is first time in 2 years it has ever been hot from charging.  This is so frustrating that a fitbit update crashed and ruined my fitbit and now I have to spend money to buy another one.

I was wondering the same thing today.  Never add issues with battery before and since yesterday my battery only last a few hours

I didn’t know you could update a Fitbit? I’ve only had mine since February. I got an alert yesterday that my battery was low. I charged it. It’s died twice today and I’ve charged it twice. Usually only charge it every few days.

Mine was doing the same thing and I reset it to factory default settings. I’m now on my third day and still at 78% battery.
