Updating brand new versa

My brand new versa has been "updating" now for 12hrs. Anyone else have this issue???

Yes just return it! I was a long time fitbit user, now I am a Garmin user and very happy

Well a actually nailed it. But it was a long process.I tried to install the new update, and it got stuk for hours. At last i restarted the watch by holding the left and the bottom right switch until the fitbit logon came on and then I updated again. It seamed like it got a little further in the update before it got stuk. So I did it again maybe 5-7 times (update/restart - update/restart e.c.t) It got late, and I left it in the update process, and went to bed. Next morning, the update was finished and the excise app was back in business 😄

Same thing here I have turned off and on the watch 4 or more times factory reset the watch deleted the watch off the app restarted my phone I'm still on day two of trying to update it did the same thing when I first bought it if this issue continues I won't be buying Fitbit again it should not be this hard

I feel the same. This Versa is a pain in the butt compared to all other fitbit trackers I've had. They definitely need to work on the glitches. I gave my Blaze to my fiance' and have regretted it ever since.

I am unable to connect my new versa to wifi. password has been triple checked. All other devices on wifi are working well. What do you assume is the problem.

This was a huge problem for me too.....and so frustrating!!! It finally did connect but it took way too long. I have had many fit bits but this one is the worst. It still has glitches every now and then. I gave my blaze to my boyfriend but wish I hadn't. I liked it much better than the Versa. I might add that the only reason I wanted the Versa was so that I could swim with it.

Regarding the swimming.. last summer I had posted something on these forums regarding if anyone has ever showered with it before submerging it in pool water or if that would be a good test. A FitBit rep/moderator if you will responded saying they don't actually recommend swimming with it which I feel defeats the purpose of the Versa as it is advertised to be used while swimming.

The swimming feature was the ONLY reason I upgraded to the Versa.

Hope someone can help me:

I cannot update my Fitbit Versa Tracker and have spent hours trying different ways to do this.

I've tried resetting versa, deleting Fitbit account on phone, updating on my computer and all unsuccessful.

Can anyone advise me, surely it cannot be this complicated?

None of those solutions worked for me. I finally reset to factory settings, removed the versa from my account, then reinstalled it. Very frustrating

It drove me crazy. I disconnected it from my account, did the factory reset, and started from scratch. Now it works. Very annoyed.
