My brand new versa has been "updating" now for 12hrs. Anyone else have this issue???

After restarting the watch didn't help, force-closing the app and clearing app data resolved the issue for me (Android).

I am having exactly the same issue. Over 12 hours and still not completing. I have not been able to set up the new Versa at all even though it is now linked to my account.

So, having owned this P.O.S. for nearly 2 weeks and every attempt to update it has failed, I finally took it off the charger and saw immediately that my app said I had done some steps :smiley surprised: . . I look at the watch and all it says is "download the app" in several languages REALLY ? I would have thought FAR more research and product testing should have gone into this new watch, I am incredibly disappointed - I'll put it in the drawer and go back to using my cheaper old fitbit . . .

Get this! . . . I logged onto WiFi at a different location and the **ahem** thing updated and worked! :smiley surprised: . . . Lets see if I get to like it now . . .

My Fitbit versa has been updating for 2 hours! The fitbit itself is working fine , but the app on my phone just says updating! What do I do????

My Sky broadband is down at the moment. Waiting for an engineer visit. I’ve been trying to update with 4G and Bluetooth... 12 hours so far - I’ve switched back to my Blaze and think I will have to wait until the internet is back up and running, wish I’d realised this was a problem before I purchased it. Why aren’t they loaded ready to go like all my other Fitbit devices were?
