My brand new versa has been "updating" now for 12hrs. Anyone else have this issue???

Yes I used Wi-fi to download but transferred via Bluetooth. Left it running overnight and by morn8ng it was done.

I am approaching hour 17 in trying to update the firmware. Have restarted my phone and the Versa several times and still have not gotten past 25% of the download. I wish I had read these comments before purchasing the Versa. I have never had these problems with the Alta.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy s7
I removed the Fitbit app and reinstalled. Still not working.
Update: Have trying updating the Versa with my phone, tablet and computer and all have failed. The devices say that they are connected to the Versa and my Fitbit account lists the Versa but all attempts to update fail.

How do you update your versa? Or update your versa? Just pissed cause I have a galaxy s5 and I cant reply with quick response on my versa. Cause my phone is 6.0.1 version not 7.0 version. Hopefully they update this to work with more phones. How do you update? I already tried deleting the fitbit app and re downloaded it and it' the same.

I turned my phone into a hot spot and connected the Fitbit to that WiFi network. Worked much faster. I think the WiFi I was trying to use was slow or something. I’d try another network if you are able (phone hotspot, work, coffee shop, etc). Good luck!

Yes!!!! Mine has been updating for 16 hours+. I am getting really frustrated and now wishing I hadn't given the blaze to my husband BEFORE I was able to wear my new Versa. What is going on!!???

Hi everyone. Sorry that some of you are still having issues updating your Versa. Some members have commented that force closing the app and reopen it have helped complete the update. Also iOS devices have been found to work really well for this process. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and as some members have said you can try a different wireless connection (from work or at a friends house). Make sure the Versa is fully charged before starting this process and check the firmware update article and firmware troubleshoot article.
