 I currently have a fit bit charge 2, I don't know whether to upgrade to versa or stick, 

My charge2 currently is not picking up steps when pushing buggy? Will versa pick steps up as newer?

I can't say that it won't. At least at the current state of things. However, there is and update pending and hopefully it will tame the Versa's penchant for adding steps in cars, trucks and motorcycles. The Versa has the potential of being really great and I'm hoping the update will bring it into the same accuracy range as the Charge 2. I have on and love it.
